MainStage

Proctors’ historic MainStage Theatre is the heart of both Schenectady and the Capital Region’s arts and entertainment scene. The MainStage, with an audience capacity of 2,646, is a proscenium stage space with a newly renovated stage house large enough to host the biggest Broadway shows.

This space is available for rental as a traditional live performance space, movie theatre or as a stage-only event venue. The stage alone can serve as a wedding ceremony/reception venue or intimate music performance space. The MainStage is a fully equipped professional theatre with full lighting, sound, rigging and over 20 dressing rooms. Click here for our seating maps.

It is also home to the fully operational Mighty Wurlitzer organ, Goldie!
